King of the Pigs

Visited this place on a whim while we were in Strathroy yesterday shopping. MAN soooo glad we did. Absolutely the best chicken and ribs all of us have ever had.. which when one of us only eats poultry says the same thing it says ALOT. The staff were amazing .. friendly and helpful. Even the potatoes and fries were exceptional and all our plates were heaping because the portions are so big. We watched other people get their plates and all agreed we can’t wait to go back to try some of the dishes we seen going to other patrons. Absolutely recommend King of Pigs

I went to this place by accident passing through Strathroy and there’s not enough stars to rate the customer service I received. The place was close already however the door was not locked and when I walked in, Sarah greeted me and apologized that they were closing. I mentioned that I just wanted a Bifone sandwich as I was hungry and missed my Portuguese food being from Toronto. She told me to wait and will talk to Clara to see if she can fire the grill back up knowing that I was very hungry. Needless to say, 20mins later I was enjoying my Bifone sandwich in the car. Thank you so much Sarah and Clara. Sandwich was great as it was prepared with pride and care. I ordered 2 by the way. Wish you all great success and customer satisfaction as it’s hard to come by nowadays.

Ordered online and everything was ready, fresh and delish! Take out but restaurant looked nice and clean when I came in to get order. Nice to see people dining in. Haven’t been for a while. Also recently had at a work event and it did not disappoint. Love your sauce

King of the pigs catered our wedding dinner and we cannot say enough amazing things. The food was so good that people are still messaging me about it! The fish was a huge hit!! If you are getting married in the strathroy area I would suggest you take a look at King of the Pigs.

We order from king of the pigs about once a month or so, our kids (who are in the picky toddler phase) love the chicken and sauce, the rice and even the potatoes. The steak is always beautifully cooked and seasoned well. Their king of the pigs mild sauce is a frequent restock item in our household and is a MUST HAVE. I’ve never found a sauce that even comes close. We put it on all our meat at home, sometimes even to dip French fries, it’s very versatile and our kids love it too. I can’t say enough good things about the food and the consistency and excellent customer service when we eat here, one of our favourites for sure!

Great food and the service was fantastic. If you like traditional portuguese food at a reasonable price I would highly recommend.
